Medina 2015, Homecoming

Somewhere during the week I lost track of the day (and year). However, I assure you it was not for a lack of excitement or activity. More than anything it was because we were so blessed this week by the people we met at Medina Children’s Home and the work God called us to do. From our arrival on Sunday to departure Saturday, we witnessed God’s freeing and redemptive light in the hearts and stories of His children and we were reminded that, As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

Thank you Father for blessing us with this opportunity to be salt and light in Medina. May your purpose at the home be achieved in a way that brings you glory and honor. Amen.

We return today (Saturday, July 18) on SW flight 4526 at 2:10 p.m.
