Medina 2015, Day 5
Most of us started our morning with a hike up the hill (the not so small mountain) before the sun was even awake. We didn’t make it in time to see the sunrise. But it didn’t damage the view of the campus or the valley. We returned for breakfast and had a morning devotional before we broke out into our work crews. Some of us spent the day shoveling gravel, scraping tile, cooking, raking leaves, and removing glue from one of the cottages floors. Then we came back together for lunch that was spiced up by jalapeno pepper poppers! Then we went back to work and finished up all our jobs. After work we came together again to play with the kids while we treated the moms to a craft. We love the kids (they are insane!!) and we are not ready to go home. We are going to enjoy our last day here in the lovely little town of Medina, Texas.
