Middle School Mission Trip Applications Due [Updated] April 13th

June 29-July 4 our 7th and 8th graders will be making a second trip to Albany, Georgia to partner with our friends at Mission Change.*

This trip involves various service opportunities related, but not limited to: serving the homeless population, participating in activities with the elderly, playing games with children, tutoring, and coming alongside any other current efforts at Mission Change.

This trip requires a great deal of maturity and a limited number of participants. Therefore, there is an application process in place to join the Albany Mission team. These applications (Middle School Mission Trip Application 2014) are due by April 13th this year, and there is no guarantee that applications can or will be accepted after that deadline.

The cost of the trip will be $300 before fundraising efforts, so that is a maximum. There is also a expectation that any student interested in participating in this trip complete no less than 5 hours of documented service (either with church or otherwise) before leaving. If you have any questions about the service hours, feel free to email me.

After the team is established, we will have informational meetings about the trip. However, if you would like more information before applying, I am happy to answer any questions you might have.

*This trip is limited to the 7th and 8th grades, so we encourage 6th graders interested in serving this summer to participate in Nashville Workcamp
