Serve Nashville

Calling all high school students!  Mark your calendars July 10-13.  We will be dedicating these few days for intentional service in Nashville.  We will kick things off Wednesday, July 10th after church with a lock in and even maybe some karaoke.  Thursday morning we will have breakfast and get an early start by working in our very own community garden and helping around our building.  After a hard day of work, teens will share dinner with elderly church members who are shut-in before returning home.  Friday morning 50 elementary age kids from YES are coming to Woodmont, and we get to play with them all morning then eat lunch.  That afternoon we will be helping Claire, our children’s minister, decorate and set up for VBS as well as visiting West Meade Place, a nursing home.  Saturday we are going to continue with more service projects and then wrap up that evening with a party and dinner.  More info and a detailed schedule will be coming your way soon.

Calling all Volunteers!

Are you a parent or adult interested in volunteering for WoodmontYG? Do you know someone who would make a great Lifeguard or would just like to help out here and there? Then go to the “forms” page on woodmontyg.com and fill out the “Adult Volunteer Form” today! If you’re computer savvy, you can download, edit, and then send it back to us, or you can print it off and put it in the black mail box downstairs in the youth room.
