Summer Calendar Explained

Below are brief explanations of all you might see on the Summer Calendar. We will explain in further detail at the Parent Meeting on April 22nd and we will post forms and applications on this website shortly.

Nashville Workcamp - David and Jesse have been incredibly blessed to be a part of Nashville Workcamp over the last several years, and we can’t wait to share the experience with our group.

June 3rd-8th we will join hundreds of other teens and adult leaders from all over the Southeast to serve Nashville. We’ll paint houses, pull weeds, pick up trash, mow lawns, pray together, worship together, meet new people from other churches, and change lives as God changes ours.

Each day, we’ll meet at the church before driving to West End Church of Christ where we kick off our day with all the other Workcampers. Then we go out into the city to our work sites with crews made up of 7th-12th graders from different churches. After a full day of serving, crews go back to West End to unload before coming back to Woodmont where parents pick students up for an afternoon break. Finally, we’ll meet at Woodmont again before heading back to West End for dinner (price is included in cost) and nightly worship with the other 400+ workcampers.

This event will not only allow us to serve our community, but it’s always a great way to meet new people from other churches and connect with other Christians.

Cost for Nashville Workcamp will be $130 which includes dinner. Lunches are not provided and need to be packed each day. We will have 30 spots available and would love to fill every last one!

Camp - We are going back to Camp Coker Creek this year for fun, amazing worship, hearing from God, and just being family. More info, forms, and cost to come.

Medina – Woodmont’s Youth Group is returning to Medina Texas to work with the Arms of Hope Children’s home. This trip is open to students who have completed the 9th – 12th grades and we will cap the trip at 40 students. We will leave June 24th and return on June 30th. More info, forms, and cost to come.

Woodmont Trek – On July 23rd we will head for the great outdoors where we will go deep into the back country on a “trek-like” trip. This trip is for students who have completed 9th – 12th grades and we will cap the trip at 16 students. More info, forms, and cost to come.
