Blood Drive

Fall Blood Drive
Woodmont Hills will be partnering with
The American Red Cross on Sunday, September 16 in Room 201.
The current blood shortage has been critical throughout the summer.
YOU can make a difference.
We have appointment times available during the second service!

Don’t forget, each donor (must be 16 with a parents consent, or 17 or older) in the youth area will receive 2 Regal Cinema passes. Also, now that we are keeping track of service hours (which will impact summer mission trip eligibility) we will count this as 1.5 hours of service.

Tell Your Friends to Follow

If you’ve ever wondered why on earth you would ever follow your youth group’s blog, just ask Anna Lasley and Reese Gwin who have each one a $25 gift card to iTunes and Chili’s respectively.

When asked for comment on how it felt to win $25 from his youth group, Reese responded “Looks like I’ve got money for a  hott date!! If only I had a hott date…darn.” Reese then bench pressed 33 reps of 225 lbs. and felt better about the world.

Even though young Mr. Gwin doesn’t have a lady friend to take to Chili’s with him, he is 25 Chili’s bucks richer, all because he follows us @WoodmontYG. What’s the moral of the story? It’s that you too could win awesome prizes and just generally be plugged into what’s going on at WoodmonYG if you follow us here at the blog or over at Twitter, or both!

The winner of today’s prize will not only need to follow us here at the blog, you will also need to come to church tonight to know the answer to the trivia question… see you tonight!
